Meet “Steve Steventon”
I have spent forty years teaching students of every age and ability. From seven year olds taking their first steps in learning to postgraduate adults pursuing advanced degrees, I have guided them all. Many of my students had special needs, and I discovered early that stories were the key to reaching them.
A Lifelong Storyteller
I have always been a storyteller. Long before I wrote books, I told tales in my classroom to help students understand difficult subjects. When my own children came along, I created stories just for them. As they grew, the stories grew with them, becoming richer and more complex.
Then came my grandchildren. The stories continued, now spanning generations. These family tales eventually became The Forgotten Time series, a collection of adventures that began at my kitchen table and now reaches readers around the world.
Why I Write
Every child deserves stories that challenge their imagination and respect their intelligence. I write for young readers who are ready to explore new worlds, face meaningful challenges, and discover that ordinary children can do extraordinary things. My books are for families to share, for classrooms to explore, and for any reader who believes that magic exists just beyond what we can see.
